Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
What is IPT? Unlike some approaches, IPT does not require you to explore past experiences but focuses upon current issues and relationships that may be contributing to your low mood or difficulties.
IPT assumes the position that depression is not just or solely an issue within the person, and helps you learn more about how your thoughts and feelings affect your relationships with others, poor relationships with people in your life can leave you feeling depressed, leading to depression making your relationships with other people worse. Becoming stuck in a cycle!
What can IPT help me with?

Recurrent Depression
Help prevent relapse and recurrence of illness
Anxiety
Chronic fatigue
Mood disorders such as bipolar and dysthymic disorders
